About

I live in currnetly live in South West France, near the town of Cognac – famous for its eponymous drink and its seemingly endless, rolling vineyards.

After a successful and demanding career as a consultant in the city of London, I moved to France in 2005 to follow a slightly slower pace of life. Whilst in London I undertook commissions from corporate and private clients, worked with photographic agencies and exhibited work in a variety of galleries.

Inspired by architectural form and urban/natural landscapes, I find that the creative process is not always straightforward and that I am often
torn between a love of the abstract (a desire to reduce to basic essentials, removing superfluous details or even context) and an appreciation of the more classic fine art techniques. I love to experiment and I’ll pursue anything that catches my imagination.

I carry a camera most of the time – but I do have other interests! Film, travel and my adorable cat Orlando.
